After you reach out

Shane reviews your message

Usually same day. If you described the issue in the form, he reviews it before calling so the first conversation is useful, not introductory.

Shane calls you personally

No dispatcher, no intake coordinator. You get Shane on the phone. For most jobs, he can give a rough range before coming out.

Flat-rate quote before any work starts

You receive a firm price on-site before Shane touches anything. The invoice matches the quote. No surprises after the job is done.

Message sent.

Shane will review this and follow up by phone, usually the same day. If your situation is urgent, call directly:

Shane calls back — phone is the fastest way to connect.
No need to diagnose it. Just describe what you're noticing.

Common Questions

Things people usually ask before calling.

If you're on the fence about reaching out, one of these probably covers what you're wondering.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. The first call is free, and Shane can usually give a rough range over the phone before even coming out. A firm flat-rate quote is given on-site before any work starts — you're never committed until you see the number and agree to it.

I'm not sure what's actually wrong. Can I still call?

That's the most common situation. Describe what you're seeing — a spike in the water bill, a slow drain, rust-tinted water — and Shane will diagnose it on-site before recommending anything. A hidden leak, blocked drain line, and failing water heater can all look the same from the outside.

How quickly can you come out?

Non-emergency jobs are typically scheduled within a few days. For active leaks, flooding, or no-water situations, call directly — don't use the form. Shane picks up the phone and gets there the same day when the situation calls for it.

Do you do commercial work?

No. SolidStreams is residential only — single-family homes and small multi-family properties. This keeps the focus on the type of work Shane does best, which includes whole-home water treatment, fixture installs, and residential water heater work. No commercial contracts or new construction builds.
